Dennis - this kind of breakage is often down to IEs rendering of CSS so it is more likely to be an issue around the theme, rather than WordPress itself.

Dennis, this is no Wordpress standard theme, it's done by Scott Wallick, so it says at the bottom. Maybe you can ask him to check for errors in his CSS.

Frank - this theme seems OK. It was Simpla 1.01 = lovely lokking but yukky in IE. Tom's since told me IE is a pig at handling CSS but that IE 7 might sort this out. Not holding my breath.
