    Couldn't agree more - when I walked The Camino in Spain my GPRS bill was a lot more than the food and accommodation costs. Maybe we should implement a SIM card sharing scheme. With Tmobile and 3 here in the UK you can have unlimited GPRS for a few pounds a month.

    Seems all of the networks are as bad as one another. Here's a cautionary tale from a T-Mobile customer.

    Yes when you consider that countries like Australia and the US don't charge exorbidant fees for 'roaming' from east to west it is very hard to see why the EU telecoms can do the same. The EU is similar in size to both the US and Australia. Can't wait for the proposed legislation to come into effect.
    Anyone know how SE-Asia (Sing / HK / Malaysia etc) handles this?
