Just for the record, Rick Segal is indeed an American born VC. He is neither big, nor bad, nor an American resident, but is a partner in JLA in Toronto. In fact, the Canadian government is being very supportive of this adventure, letting has have meeting spaces in Canadian embassies around the world. My government, on the other hand, would probably be too busy reading my phone log to afford us such help.
